These days artists earn most of their money by performing since people don’t buy music anymore.
But T.I. says he doesn’t have to perform, so he’ll play his last show on December 19, at Jingle Ball, inside Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
“I do not need the money anymore and I will not be performing,” he said on 96.1. “I don’t wanna do it anymore. I don’t want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for they entertainment anymore.”
Tip’s plan to hang up his stage shows could have been in the works for some time. It could also be related to him and his wife Tiny winning a $71 million lawsuit last month against MGA Entertainment.
The toy company was accused of creating its L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G dolls in the same image as Tip and Tiny’s pop group OMG Girlz.
Are you sad about Tip not performing anymore?
