A lot of rappers like to randomly speak about Jay-Z and use him as a barometer.
Whether it’s Juvenile recently comparing his 400 Degreez album to the Brooklyn rapper’s LPs, or Goodie Mob’s Big Gipp saying in 2023 that he has a problem with Jay always being called the best rapper.
The latest to do so is Tyrese, who out of nowhere, compared Jay to Snoop Dogg.
“Can I ask you a question,” said Tyrese on Club Shay Shay. “Who’s a bigger rapper globally, the most famous of the two, Jay-Z or Snoop Dogg in your opinion? If Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg was in a mall in Moscow, who would shut the mall down?”
Shannon Sharpe answered by saying Snoop is the bigger rapper.
“Biggest rapper in the world,” Tyrese followed.
