Kanye West apologized to the Jewish community this week for making anti-Semitic remarks, but his message doesn’t seem to be going over very well.

Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg said it’s possible that Ye is trying to clear a sample for his upcoming Vultures album and was told he needed to apologize first.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the American Jewish Committee believes Ye just wants attention and ripped him for writing his message in Hebrew — which was allegedly written by ChatGPT, then thrown into Google Translate.

“[The apology] is beyond being bizarre and possibly a ploy to gain more attention,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “The Hebrew apology, posted without translation, is inaccessible to most American Jews who do not speak the language. While he claims that he is committed to learning and greater understanding, this apology speaks to ‘any pain I may have caused,’ rather than acknowledging the pain that he has caused.”

Do you believe that Ye is really sorry for his anti-Semitic remarks?
