DJ Drama said that his place in Hip Hop should never be questioned based on all he’s done for the culture. [Go to the 5:35-mark]

“I’m not in a position of speaking politically correct anymore,” he said on Cigar Talk. “For what I’ve done for the culture and what I’ve given to people and what I’ve given to Hip Hop, like n*ggas can’t see me … Second of all, don’t ever question about what I mean to Hip Hop. How many classic mixtapes would we not have if it wasn’t for DJ Drama … How many artists have I not introduced to the world or been a part of?”

Recently, Drama said that Lil Uzi Vert’s “I Just Wanna Rock” replaced Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as Philly’s new anthem, so it’s true that he’s not being politically correct anymore.

Are you in agreement with Drama about his place in Hip Hop, and does he deserve more credit?
