The D.O.C. will forever be known as Hip Hop’s biggest what if.  He lost his voice after a 1989 car crash and wasn’t able to rhyme.

He released a couple of albums since the crash and his debut album No One Can Do It Better, but he hasn’t rhymed on a song in nearly 20 years.

But that changed on the group Codefendants’s new cut “Fast Ones.”

“I’ve been living so off balance that even drowning’s a f*cking challenge / Violence every day, this ain’t fantasy island, n*ggaz wildin’ / I was when it used to be attitudes / Now it’s just minstrel black fists, its black fools, clowns in black face, night of the f*ckin’ baseheads you f*ckin’ laced / Your homie is part of the f*cking’ feds,” raps the Dallas wordsmith.

You can check out the full song above. How are you feeling The D.O.C.’s return to the mic?
