In the past, there have been national panics over violent rap lyrics.

Rap lyrics have never been more violent than they are today, and so far it hasn’t really become a big national talking point.

However, it could become one.

And if it does, Jadakiss believes the labels should be getting the bulk of the scrutiny.

“But nobody’s going to these labels saying they wrong for this. We just blaming it on the kids. So, like my brother said, he don’t like to just put all the blame on these young artists because the radio stations are making them the top songs of the playlist. And the labels are still signing them,” Jada explained. “They puttin’ out life insurance on these young kids now … The labels. ‘Cause they gambling on you to do something dumb, so they can profit after you die. So, this is getting ridiculous.”
