New Megan Thee Stallion album Traumazine arrives tomorrow with features from Rico Nasty, Pooh Shiesty, Lucky Daye, Jhene Aiko and more.

Megan Thee Stallion fans will get a legal dose of Traumazine tomorrow. After releasing recent singles “Sweetest Pie” featuring Dua Lipa, “Plan B,” and “Pressurelicious” featuring Future, the ‘H-Town Town’ hottie revealed that her 18-track album will arrive on Friday (August 12). Also slated to appear on Traumazine include Key Glock, Latto, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Lucky Daye and Jhene Aiko, along with Houston rap veterans Sauce Walka, Big Pokey and Lil Keke.

The surprise came with a 19-second teaser for Traumazine, where two sides of the rapper attend a funeral of an unknown person. Earlier this month, Meg shared the definition behind the album’s title on Instagram, reading “the chemical released in the brain when it is forced to deal with painful emotions caused by traumatic events and experiences.”

It’s likely that moments on the album will reference the July 2020 incident where Meg was allegedly shot by Tory Lanez in Los Angeles. In June, Meg spoke with Rolling Stone about the shooting, saying that she wanted Lanez to go “under the jail” while sharing that her sophomore album will evoke a range of emotions in listeners.

“At first you was twerking, now you might be crying. I just always want people to remember, ‘Yes, Megan Thee Stallion, she was great, she was a rapper. She was one of the best rappers, the coldest,” she said.

If Meg wins her current lawsuit with 1501 Certified Entertainment, Traumazine will possibly mark her final album on the Houston-based record label.
