Beyoncé season has officially begun.

Beyoncé is officially back. The singer has announced that she is releasing her new single on Monday at EST. The song is called  “Break My Soul.” She made the announcement via her social media bios.

In it, Beyoncé wrote:

“6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET.”

The song is the first single from her upcoming album, Renaissance, which she announced last week. That album will be dropping on July 29th. The album is also titled act i, so there is theories that this will be the first of a series of albums.

The album also will feature 16 songs.

Fans first noticed the possibility of a new album rollout when Knowles-Carter removed her profile picture on all of her social media pages last week. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar last year, the singer teased new music and the title of her seventh album.

“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again,” she told the magazine. “I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.”

She also confirmed that a new album would be coming. “Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio,” she added. “After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming.”

Renaissance will be Beyoncé’s first solo studio album since she dropped Lemonade back in 2016.
