Goldlink returned to Twitter to announce a new album, among other things.

On Wednesday morning, DC rapper Goldlink logged onto Twitter for the first time since 2015. He quickly made his presence felt, immediately reigniting his beef with Harlem MC Sheck Wes. “F— [you] Sheck Wes,” he wrote. “Ima drink some Cacti and spit on your white tee.” In addition to the threats, Goldlink has dropped “White Walls,” a new single on which he also takes aim at Sheck Wes. Stream the new track below.

The beef dates back to 2019. That year, Goldlink addressed Sheck Wes’ alleged domestic abuse towards ex-girlfriend Justine Skye on “Justine’s Interlude.” According to Skye, Wes and his entourage stalked her and friends after the relationship ended. Skye even posted footage of Wes attempting to enter her house without her consent. She eventually filed a restraining order, citing a July 2018 incident where Sheck allegedly “threatened to punch me in the face, headbutted me, [and] told me he was going to hurt me.”

After the allegations, Sheck lost his deal as a spokesperson for Major League Soccer, but the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office decided not to move forward into investigating Skye’s claims, saying they “lacked evidence.”

Goldlink also hinted at an altercation between the two artists’ entourages, alleging a member of Wes’ crew was beaten and shot in the skirmish. “It ain’t my fault [that] ya men jumped out, got spanked then ya mans got shot,” he tweeted.

“White Walls” will appear on his new album HARAM! due out June 18th.
