Hello Anthony! Great to have you at RealStreetRadio! Can you tell us a little bit about your latest release ‘Fragile’? What is the story behind it?
Fragile is about my relationship a little while ago and how things seemed fragile and uncertain. It’s about faith
Your music mirrors you as a very religious person. How does that influence your artistry?
Well it’s not really a religious thing as much as a relationship Thing… but it does influence my writing for sure. I tend to write about experience and how it relates to god.
Your lyrics seem to be very personal – do you always write about your own experiences?
I like to write about personal experience for sure. But not always.. I sometimes write love songs that are just love songs about no one lol.
What does your creative process look like? Do you firstly write the lyrics, or you start with composing music?
It’s usually the music first. That’s how I get the melody for the lyrics
What are some of the artists that you would like to collaborate with in the future?
There’s a lot actually… but two that I’d most definitely like to meet someday would be John Mayer and Charlie puth.
How did the global pandemic affect your artistry? Did you take your time to create music or rather throw yourself for new passions?
The pandemic definitely slowed things down for all of us… I focused on music as always. I guess you can say I kept doing what I always did just at a slower pace.
