Busta Rhymes recreates a classic cut for his latest single.

On Tuesday, Busta Rhymes dropped the video for “Outta My Mind,” the latest single from Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God. The song features Bell Biv Devoe, whose hit single “Poison” was sampled for the track. Stream the video below.

In the video, Busta and BBD host a party, complete with COVID-19 temperature checks by Spliff Star. Busta breaks out an impressive selection of fur coats for the occasion. Busta and BBD performed the track for the first time on Sunday for Bounce TV’s Trumpet Awards.

Back in October, Busta spoke about the star-studded list of collaborators on Extinction Level Event 2.

“I got the best from everyone,” he boasted. “I got them in the space that made me fans of them. Mary [J. Blige] feels like how she felt when she was on the My Life album on this album. Rick Ross feels like when he made Teflon Don. I got Rakim on my album going into the sciences of the Quran…I don’t think there’s a dull moment.”

In November, Busta revealed that he has over 300 beats from the late J. Dilla.

“I’m extremely selective with who I give them to,” he explained, “which is why I haven’t given them to anybody except Raekwon and that was for Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Part Two…I’ve always tried to represent and uphold the legacy of the late, great J. Dilla, through all of my albums. You know what I’m saying?”
