Boosie Badazz doesn’t share the same sentiments about the new PlayStation 5 as most of his peers do.

The outspoken rapper took to Twitter on Thursday (November 12) with a hot take on gamers as everyone gets their hands on the new PS5 and/or the new Xbox this week.

“PLAYIN A VIDEO GAME LIKE A JUNKIE WILL TAKE U OFF YO GRIND N TAKE TOO MUCH TIME AWAY FROM YOUR GRIND,” he wrote. “#hustlers DONT LET A PS5 HAVE YOU WITH THE SAME BAG OF MONEY FOR TWO R 3YEARS #timeismoney THIS AINT THE YEAR TO BE BULLSHITIN ON NO GAME.”

His fellow Hip Hop community definitely doesn’t feel the same way, and they’ve been all over social media celebrating their new consoles as they get their hands on them.

Lil Yachty was able to acquire two PS5s while some are still waiting for just one, and all it took was a tweet and a hug. Travis Scott shared his wealth and surprised a couple of 16-year-old fans from South Central, Los Angeles with the consoles.

Meanwhile, BlocBoy JB went with the Xbox because – according to him – PlayStation is “for the gays.”

“If you really look into it Playstation, they got pride colors so Playstation supposed to be for the gays and Xbox supposed to be for the street niggas,” he said on his Instagram Story. “Not saying that the gays can’t play the Xbox but I’m just saying – Xbox for the gangster niggas. That’s my calculations…”
