Toronto, Canada – Drake is one of the millions of people celebrating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ projected victory in the 2020 presidential election.

On Saturday (November 7) as the world erupted with parties to commemorate the historic moment, the Toronto native took a trip down memory lane and recalled the time Ashton Kutcher pranked him for a 2012 episode of MTV’s Punk’d.

Drake was led to believe he was meeting Biden, who was the vice-president at the time, only to be greeted with a fake earthquake.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the 34-year-old Drake posted a photo of the president elect and touched on the episode.

“When I got punk’d by [Ashton Kutcher] it was a set up so I could meet this man as the VP,” he wrote. “Now, I look forward to ACTUALLY meeting him one day as the big dog. Welcome home Joe… @joebiden.”

He also shared a throwback photo of vice-president elect Kamala Harris and tagged them both to show his appreciation.

According to the Associated Press, Biden has 290 electoral votes compared to Donald Trump’s 214, 20 more than the 270 it takes to secure the White House. Several Hip Hop/R&B artists reacted to the news on social media, including Juicy J, Snoop Dogg, Offset, Q-Tip and Lupe Fiasco.
