The R&B star runs through his hits with a full band in tow for another round with Tiny Desk.

Fresh off the release of his new album, Ty Dolla $ign is back on the Tiny Desk stage.

Backed by his Skrillex (pulling triple duty as DJ, guitarist, and occasional synth player,) and his band, The Jesus People (featuring Aaron Camper on key, Ant Clemons on back-up vocals, Brandon Chapman on guitar, Mike Moore on drums, and Joe Cleveland on bass,) the singer was in full-form despite the domestic setup. Tucked behind his MPC in what is presumably some corner of his home, Dolla ran through live renditions of his hits, as well as selections from his new album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

The set commenced with “Temptations,” before moving into his viral singles, “Something New” and “Or Nah,” all with flairs of gospel chops that gave the performance a distinct shed feel. From there, Ty slips into the new song, “Paranoid,” flipping into his house-anchored Kanye assist, “Ego Death,” before signing off with “Your Turn.” The tone of the performance was several shades more uplifting than his last round with Tiny Desk, where he performed a sobering tribute to friend and frequent collaborator, Mac Miller, in the wake of the rapper’s death. Ty also performed at a livestreamed memorial show for Miller, featuring appearances from SZA, Thundercat, Travis Scott, Anderson .Paak, Miguel, Chance The Rapper, John Mayer, and others.

Watch Ty Dolla $ign return to Tiny Desk with a club-ready set above. His new album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, is out now via Atlantic with a mile-long guest list, including appearances from Kid Cudi, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak, Kanye West, Post Malone, Quavo, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Gunna, Roddy Rich, and more. Stream it below and hold tight for his next transmission in the weeks and months ahead.
