Tory Lanez doesn’t appear to be doing himself any favors in terms of cleaning up his image. On Thursday (September 24), the embattled Canadian rapper dropped a surprise album called DAYSTAR and quickly became a trending Twitter topic.

From the very first track, “Money Over Fallouts,” Lanez denies shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her feet and sounds more like a jilted lover than a former best friend, something not lost on his fans.

“Don’t forget you was my bitch, I held it down and kept it real,” he raps. “I would never paint no fake picture of you just for some mills/And I thought that you were solid too, but look at how you doing me/Look at you doing me, people tryin’ to ruin me.”

The rest of the 17-track project appears to be solely dedicated to the Megan incident. From “Look How God Works” to “A Poem From Me 2 You,” he essentially denies any wrongdoing on nearly every song — and Twitter isn’t having it.
