An eager French Montana couldn’t wait to deliver Akademiks the good news that a platinum package had arrived on Saturday (July 11).
“Yo Akademiks look,” the “Writing on the Wall” rapper exclaimed as he showed off a giant plaque wrapped in plastic. “This just came in. 41 platinum singles sold.”

Some of French’s multi-platinum moments include the singles “Pop That,” “No Stylist,” “Lockjaw” and his magnum opus, 2017’s “Unforgettable,” which has since been certified 8x platinum by the RIAA.
In May, he released the single “Cold” co-starring Tory Lanez which has already proven to be popular on TikTok.
