Meek Mill proclaimed Akademiks is canceled amid the internet personality’s ongoing beef with Freddie Gibbs on Tuesday (June 30). Yet Meek’s attempt to get rid of the co-host of Complex’s Everday Struggle was dismissed by the man himself.

“Akademiks canceled because he’s a bad police and our culture don’t need them,” Meek wrote on Twitter. “he also gassed a lot of beef that got people killed and hurt and never donated a dollar to the culture! We gone holla at you next run champ lol.”

Unfazed, Akademiks fired back via social media.

“You can’t cancel anyone meek,” he insisted.

Meek responded, “I you getting canceled now! Lol and if I pull this shit out you would be done … just say upppp and ima up it.”

While Akademiks is currently embroiled in a feud with Gibbs, he’s also been at odds with Meek in recent weeks. The Atlantic Records artist demanded Ak stop posting about him on Instagram, which led to Meek’s request being obliged. Yet Akademiks continued to address the Philly-bred rapper via Twitch, ranting about Meek in a livestream.

“You don’t know how to take a joke, and you don’t know how to work this shit,” he contended.

Akademiks added, “I’ve never seen Meek Mill press an actual gangsta. But they can’t wait to run into the blog nigga. I’ve never seen Meek do nothing to another hood nigga.”
