Future has supplanted Elvis Presley on the all-time leaderboard for most Billboard Hot 100 hits — and he’s feeling good about it. The Freebandz celebrated eclipsing “The King” by expressing his gratitude on Tuesday (May 26).

“7 number 1 albums and they mentioning me with ELVIS PRESLEY,” he wrote Twitter. “Grateful and beyond THANKFUL.”

After 12 songs from his High Off Life album debuted on the Hot 100, Future attained the fourth-most chart entries in Billboard history. Presley and Nicki Minaj were previously tied for fourth with 109 tracks each but were surpassed by Future, who now has 110 charting songs in his discography.

Drake is the current record holder for most Hot 100 entries, leading the way with 222 cuts. The cast of Glee sits at No. 2 with 207 charting songs while Lil Wayne holds down the No. 3 position with 163.

Future’s High Off Life LP not only moved him up the Hot 100’s all-time list but also marked his seventh No. 1 album. The project hit the top spot on the Billboard 200 after selling 153,000 album equivalent units in its first week, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

High Off Life has already been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), literally earning its certification on the day of its release (May 15). The album’s instant success was thanks in large part to the Drake-assisted single “Life Is Good,” which went platinum four times before the LP even dropped.
