Tory Lanez was banned from going live on Instagram earlier this week after the powers that be determined the content was inappropriate. In all fairness, having a woman stick a glass of milk between her bare butt cheeks might’ve been the tipping point.

Nonetheless, Lanez’s Instagram Live show, Quarantine Radio, was bringing viewers in at record numbers. On Tuesday (April 7), Royce Da 5’9 shared a screenshot of the Toronto-bred rapper’s post and shamed Instagram for the block. Since the coronavirus pandemic started, countless Hip Hop artists have been using the social media platform to stay connected to their friends and peers.

“How dare you,” he wrote in the caption. “All the content we’ve been giving to this platform? We need our own whole damn eco system, this shit all twisted around..

The Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne Tha God hopped in and commented, “This. is. Not. Our. Platform. We should be using this to build up our own platform which is all Teddy Riley was trying to say earlier this week.”

Riley was expected to battle Babyface on Sunday (April 5), but the event wound up being postponed. Riley explained what happened during an IG Live interview with Charlamagne.
