The Netflix documentary Tiger King has been making headlines around the globe as its popularity soars — but Bun B clearly isn’t a fan. After a controversial video of the show’s star Joe Exotic surfaced online, the UGK legend had to speak out.

On Tuesday (March 31), Bun shared a clip of the video in question. Exotic is on a rant about the n-word and seemingly furious he can’t say it.

“What’s going on in here, in this country?” he says. “It’s absolutely pathetic. I can’t say the N-word, but you can get on YouTube and watch any Black man’s rap video, and they’re calling each other the N-word. What the hell, is this discrimination? I’m white, I can’t say the N-word and they can?”

Bun gave a simple answer, “No Joe. You’re pathetic. Later for this clown.”

Bun’s sentiment greatly oppose Cardi B’s feelings toward Joe Exotic, who’s currently in prison after a jury found him guilty in a murder-for-hire plot to take down Big Cat Rescue owner Carole Baskin in addition to some animal-related crimes. The platinum-selling rapper attempted to start a GoFundMe campaign to free the incarcerated former zoo operator.

After the GoFundMe idea was shut down (fundraisers aren’t allowed to be used in defense of inmates convicted of violent crimes), Cardi tweeted she was only joking.

“Omg I was just playing,” she wrote. “I do love him tho and he deff needed better representation .oooooooooooooooooo here Kitty Kitty.”
