Washington, D.C.’s AkinG Kalld Pedro is coming off his biggest placement to date, scoring a spot on the NBA 2K20 soundtrack with his song “Traffic.jam.” As he looks to build off the recognition gained from the popular video game, the UnitedMasters artist debuts his Alex Vaughn-assisted single “Fancy” on RealStreetRadio.
“Being a black man with a number of cultural backgrounds, I’ve fortunately been able to see the world at a very young age,” he tells DX. “This single is a small piece to a global biography I am trying to tell about first-generation Americans born to immigrants.”
