The Wu-Tang Clan is making a return to live music this year. The beloved Staten Island hip-hop collective will be performing a few shows before 2021 is up, including a special concert that will have them accompanied by a symphony.

Wu-Tang Clan will be performing with the Colorado Symphony on August 13 at the Red Rock Amphitheater, according to local publication 303 magazine. Big Boi and Pretty Lights’ DJ Chris Karns are also a part of the lineup for the concert.

Tickets for the performance go on sale May 21 via AXS.com. In related news, the second season of the group’s drama streaming television series Wu-Tang: An American Saga, will focus on the recording of their seminal debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

“I think one big thing is that in season we rarely touched into the recording of 36 Chambers…there are certain things that happened in that studio that are hilarious, that’s the caption of our youth, and also that’s iconic,” RZA said in a previous interview with Rolling Stone, while adding that certain topics like how Method Man got his name will be addressed, too.

“This season is gonna be even more unpredictable but layered into the fun of what 36 Chambers mean to so many people around the world,” he said.

RZA also revealed in a recent interview that director Mario Van Peebles is helping out with the second season.

“We got some great directors,” he said. “We got Mario Van Peebles helping out directing, we brought in a few film directors as well. I think it’s going to be a really cool, unique season, and I think people are going to learn a lot about Wu-Tang and about the process of making music.”
