These days, Wiz Khalifa is more likely to be advocating for weed or doing MMA activities as he is to drop music.

But the man has a pretty impressive catalog, including megahits “See You Again” and “Black & Yellow”.

Some of that catalog now belongs to HarbourView Equity Partners.

Yesterday, Wiz and HarbourView announced the fund had purchased an undisclosed percentage of Wiz’s catalog for an undisclosed dollar amount.

Sherrese [Clarke Soares, founder, and CEO of HarbourView] and HarbourView truly understand the value of music and artistry,” Wiz said in a statement.  “We are excited to partner with them as they continue to build a dynamic media company that is in line with the values and goals we all have here at Taylor Gang.”

This comes days after HarbourView bought half of Nelly’s catalog for $50 million.

Do you think Wiz got more or less than that?
