Dwyane Wade’s recent interview with Good Morning America stirred up plenty of controversy after the retired NBA star opened up about his transgender child. He explained to GMA‘s Robin Roberts his son, born Zion Wade, knew at 3 years old that he didn’t feel right in his own skin.
So he ultimately began living as Zaya Wade and asking to be referred to by the appropriate female pronouns. After Boosie Badazz expressed his horror at the thought of gender reassignment surgery on a young child, Young Thug has thrown in his own two cents.
“All I wanna say to dwade son is ‘GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES,’ he tweeted. “but hey live your true self.”
Thugger added, “You’re gods best Creation,” insinuating a woman or a man is made the way god intended them to be made.

People were quick to point out Thug is the same artist who donned a dress for the 2016 album Jeffery. He’s also been rumored to be gay for years, so his perceived negative attitude toward Zaya Wade has led to confusion.
