The word is Universal is going all out to pump up the streams of The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow album to humble Drake.

Is it working?

The album logged 58 million streams on its first day on Global Spotify.

That’s the most so far of 2025.

However, it’s a fraction of the 313 million Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department — the most streamed album of last year and all time — did.

It’s also nowhere near the 109 million Drake’s last album, For All The Dogs, did in 2023, and that was one of Drake’s weaker first-day efforts.

So, it’s probably not humbling.
