As Tekashi 6ix9ine continues to gloat about his No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “TROLLZ” featuring Nicki Minaj, he’s already plotting his next move.

While hanging out with his forever homie DJ Akademiks, the polarizing rapper — rocking a Trippie Redd shirt — said he wants to remix 50 Cent’s “Many Men” from the 2003 classic album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.

Around the two-minute mark, 6ix9ine mentions, “I want make a ‘many men, wish death ‘pon me…” before Aks interrupts and reminds him the late Pop Smoke beat him to it. Fiddy shared Pop’s previously unreleased cover of the song — dubbed “Mercy” – in late February, not long after the 20-year-old rapper’s murder.

Prior to 6ix9ine’s arrest in November 2018, 50 once referred to the 24-year-old rapper as his “son.” They even teamed up on Uncle Murda’s track “Get The Strap” featuring Casanova. But once 6ix9ine agreed to cooperate with the federal government in its case against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, 50 has kept his distance.

In February 2019, the Power mogul took a stab at 6ix9ine on social media and insinuated he snitched on 21 Savage too. But despite 6ix9ine’s tarnished reputation in the rap community, 50 said he’d choose him over his own son Marquise Jackson any day.

“People ask, ‘You seen your son yet?’” he said in April. “Nah, I ain’t heard from 6ix9ine. He’s his mother’s child now. He’s trollin’ everybody. He better than Marquise though. I take him before I take my actual biological son [laughs]. Fuck that nigga [laughs].”

But it doesn’t look like 6ix9ine is worried about their relationship. He took a swipe at the veteran New York rapper in The Shade Room comment section not long after he was released from prison. Underneath a video titled “50 Cent Says He Wouldn’t Work With 6ix9ine Anymore,” 6ix9ine wrote, “Won’t be the first time 50 abandons his son…. lemme just mind my business.”

6ix9ine has been going full force since his April release from Queens Correctional Facility. His first two post-prison singles, “GOOBA” and “TROLLZ,” debuted at No. 3 and No. 1 on the Hot 100, respectively.
