Tekashi 6ix9ine isn’t being humble about his success. After basking in the glory of his “TROLLZ” single’s No. 1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100, the controversial rapper continued to taunt his critics with the platinum certification of his song “GOOBA.”

6ix9ine’s comment referenced a common opinion about his career after he testified against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in court. Skeptics doubted the polarizing artist could overcome the stigma of being a snitch, but his post-prison music has seemingly proven many fans don’t care.

“GOOBA,” 6ix9ine’s official comeback single, broke Eminem’s record for the most YouTube views in a single day for any debuting Hip Hop video. The visuals have surpassed 381 million views as of Wednesday (June 24).

6ix9ine’s “GOOBA,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Hot 100, was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on May 22. It achieved platinum status on June 19.

His follow-up, the Nicki Minaj-assisted “TROLLZ,” became 6ix9ine’s first No. 1 song on the Hot 100. The track reached the top of the chart with roughly 116,000 digital copies sold, 36 million U.S. streams and 1.2 million radio airplay audience impressions in its initial week.
