Los Angeles, CA – Despite calls from notable Los Angeles residents like The Game to leave the city, Tekashi 6ix9ine is still enjoying his time there.

On Friday (August 14), TMZ cameras caught up with the “TROLLZ” rapper as he walked down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend Jade, his legion of security and way in back, singer Akon. When asked his thoughts on people saying he disrespected Nipsey Hussle by posing in front of his mural, 6ix9ine denied any wrongdoing.

“I love Nipsey,” he said. “You saw I paid respect – got on one knee. I love Nipsey, you heard? Just like you love Biggie. That’s it. That’s all.”

In other videos captured on Rodeo, 6ix9ine can be seen throwing money in the air and enjoying the excitement of the fans surrounding him.

Akon and 6ix9ine got together in June following 6ix9ine’s release from prison and previewed a sequel to Akon’s 2004 hit with Styles P, “Locked Up.” Though he caught a lot of flack for working with a “snitch,” Akon defended his decision to collaborate with the embattled rapper in a new interview.

Styles P Distances Himself From Tekashi 6ix9ine & Akon’s ‘Locked Up 2’

“When you’re black and hispanic, we only field each other when something is fucked up and then people get behind that and add more gasoline to it,” he said on the Ak & Barak show on Sirius XM Friday. “But not everybody sits around and listens to both sides of the story and understands the mind of the person being attacked. And when it comes to Tekashi, there was his story, their story and the truth.”

Well, Akon says its only fair Tekashi's side of the story is heard, and most people in prison are snitches anyway! _____________________________________ "When you're black and hispanic, we only field each other when something is f**ked up and then people get behind that and add more gasoline to it," he says.
