Five years after her debut Fin, Syd is readying her sophomore effort Broken Hearts Club with features from Lucky Daye, Smino and Kehlani.

Syd is going solo again. Five years after her full-length debut album Fin, The Internet front woman has announced her sophomore album Broken Hearts Club, which will feature Lucky Daye, Smino and Kehlani. Prior to announcing the album — which drops April 8th — Syd released select loosies including “Missing Out”, “Right Track” and “Fast Car”.

Along with teasing the release of Broken Hearts Club, on Thursday, Syd dropped a surprise video for “Could You Break a Heart” (or “CYBAH”) featuring Lucky Daye.

“The album is about a relationship I had that ended in my first real broken heart,” Syd said in a statement. “It almost felt like I joined a club because all of my friends went through similar experiences. It was like a rite of passage. I started writing the album on the relationship when I was in love. You’re really getting the whole journey from the beginning to the end. I want people to find it beautiful. It’s super vulnerable, sentimental, and it’s soft. There’s touching moments and a couple of dark moments.”

Available for pre-order, Broken Hearts Club will release April 8th via Columbia Records. Check out the full track list below.
