Soulja Boy is certainly not the first rapper to use TikTok.

Nevertheless, he’s gone headlong into the app and claims he will now ditch Instagram after making almost 18K on his first TikTok stream

“Ha.  This just off of one live,” SB said of his earnings.  “OK, cool.  Goodbye Instagram … y’all catch my on TikTok

This week, Congress took the first step in passing legislation banning TikTok if it doesn’t break ties with ByteDance, its Chinese parent company.

So SB better keep that IG page.
