‘House Is Burning’ starts with a raw instrumental guitar entry to turn into a catchy beat-work. Going on from there, one will notice two distinguishing features: a fusion of R&B, soul and sparkle of some pop influences that only add a spice to the overall outcome. Carey Renee’s single leaves an open door for interpretation and sends a somehow-universal message as it captures the essence of life and relationships.
