Silento has pleaded guilty to charges of voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and concealing the death of another in the 2021 murder of his cousin.

The 27-year-old was sentenced to 30 years.

34-year-old Frederick Rooks was found shot in the face and the legs in DeKalb County, Georgia. He died in the ambulance, and police quickly arrested Silento for his murder.

Silento, who is known for the 2015 viral sensation “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)”, had been displaying mental health issues before killing his cousin.

In 2020, he was arrested for threatening his girlfriend with a hatchet.
