Saweetie celebrated going multi-platinum by promising her fans new music.

On Saturday (April 18), the Bay Area MC posted a screenshot on Instagram of her hit single “My Type” officially achieving the RIAA certification. The image confirms the 2019 digital single reached two million units on April 16 this year.

In the caption, the Warner Records signee acknowledged the support of her fans and marked the occasion by announcing “Pretty B*tch Music” is “on the way.”

“I KNOW DAS RiiiiiiiGHT !!!!!! this is amazing thank you icy ganggg,” she wrote. “MY TYPE created so many fun memories last summer and I’m ready to make some new ones w this PRETTY B*TCH MUSiC !! $ new music on the way … stay tuned… & tap in.”

This isn’t the first time Saweetie has referred to her sound as “pretty bitch music.” In an Instagram post earlier this month, she previewed a new song for fans, dancing and singing along to the lyrics with a glass of wine in her hand. As the unreleased song plays out, she addresses the camera saying, “Pretty bitch music is on the way.” In the caption, she wrote, “Happy Saturday … Pretty B*tch Music otw.”

“My Type” was released on Saweetie’s Icy EP – her last project – in June last year. The well-received summer single peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard Charts, prompting Saweetie to release a remix featuring City Girls and Jhené Aiko.
