Rich The Kid is over the people in the music business.

In a post on his Instagram Story on Tuesday (December 22), the Nobody Safe rapper railed against the industry and how disingenuous it is.

“The industry is full of lying, stealing, blood sucking mothafuckas fr,” Rich wrote. “they will hate you talk shit about ya and the whole time be dead ass broke.”

It’s unclear if that incident provoked Rich’s sentiments, but they arrived just one day after checking his friend and former artist Famous Dex into rehab on Monday (December 21). Dex left Rich’s Rich Forever imprint in 2018 after two years with the label, but Rich was by his side with a Rolls Royce and a private jet to take the Chicago native to a rehab facility following growing concern over his health.

Rich’s comments also follow a slew of allegations against him including a $2.1 million suit from Fashion Nova$1.1 million order to pay his former managers after ignoring their initial lawsuit that accused him of owing them $3.5 million, and $323,214 in back rent to a former landlord.

He denied owing Fashion Nova anything, and said he could pay the $100,000 back any time if that was the case.

It hasn’t all been bad, though. Last month, Rich teamed up with YoungBoy Never Broke Again for the collaborative effort, Nobody Safe. Featuring 15 tracks and arriving via Rich Forever Music and EMPIRE, the project included appearances from Lil Wayne, Quando Rondo and Rod Wave.
