Los Angeles, CA – Although PnB Rock’s revelation of Pop Smoke potentially killing one of his assassins before being murdered hasn’t been confirmed, LAPD investigators have released more information on the individuals they believe are responsible for the deadly shooting.

On Friday (July 10), police identified the suspects as Corey Walker, 19, of Los Angeles; Jaquan Murphy, 21, of Los Angeles; and Keandre D. Rodgers, 18, of Los Angeles, according to the Associated Press. Two other suspects (ages 15 and 17) had their names withheld due to being classified as juveniles.

Investigators are also labeling the posse as a street gang who are linked to the September 2019 murder of Kamryn Stone, an 18-year-old said by his father to be “the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Hours after the between UCLA and Oklahoma football game in Pasadena on September 14, 2019, a fight broke out leaving Stone dead and a 51-year-old Los Angeles man wounded on the scene. Stone was actually on the first day of the job for Cynthia’s Cleaning Company just months after graduating high school.

Police also say Pop’s murder was motivated by opportunity after the inadvertently posted the address while showing off the day before the murder.

All three adult suspects and currently being held on $1 million bail.

Even in death, Pop managed to come up with a win. His studio debut album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon was released on July 3 and is slated to bow at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with an estimated 175,000 to 195,000 equivalent album units sold.
