Clayton County, GA – Playboi Carti was arrested in Clayton County, Georgia earlier this month for expired tags, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to move over. But according to TMZ, it sounds like his mouth could’ve played a role in the incident.
During the routine traffic stop, Carti allegedly told the arresting officer he’d “fuck” his daughter and made another remark about his wife being “hot.” He also said he didn’t care what happened to his Lamborghini because he’d just “buy another one.”
Carti was pulled over for expired tags on April 2. While conducting a search, officers discovered 12 bags of marijuana, xanax, codeine, oxycodone and three unspecified firearms. Carti and another man named Jaylon Tucker were promptly taken into custody and transported to Clayton County Jail.

Carti has had several run-ins with the law. Last January, he was ordered to pay a fine after being convicted of assaulting a tour bus driver in Scotland. Then in 2017, Carti was also arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport on domestic abuse charges after he got into an altercation with his then-girlfriend, however that case never went to court.
The police report stated the girlfriend told officers the fight started because Carti wanted her to call her mother to check in, but she didn’t want to. Carti admitted he grabbed her phone from her hands and in turn, she hit him. Another witness said she slapped him in the face.
More recently, Carti was romantically linked to fellow rapper Iggy Azalea.
