Indio, CA – Reports were circulating this week alleging pop princess Ariana Grande got paid double what Beyoncé did for the Coachella Valley Arts & Music Festival.

According to The Blast, that’s simply untrue.

Sources with inside information say Grande and Beyoncé were both paid $4 million. The contracts for both Grammy Award-winning singers were reportedly structured the same way — $4 million for the first weekend and another $4 million for the second.

Coachella’s 2019 inaugural weekend kicked off on April 12 and wrapped up on April 14. The second and final weekend begins on Friday (April 19) and culminates on Sunday (April 21).

To commemorate Beyoncé’s appearance this year, she released the Homecoming Netflix documentary and live album. The doc follows her 2018 performance at the iconic festival.
