Drake kicked off his 34th birthday celebration in Beverly Hills, California on Friday (October 23) after flying in from Canada on his private jet. According to Hollywood Life, the Toronto superstar held a fancy bash then hopped over to Las Vegas to continue the festivities on Saturday (October 24), his actual birthday.

While the celebration appeared to go smoothly, it was Drake’s birthday menu that raised a few eyebrows. A photo of the menu made its way online and quickly started doing the rounds due to its bizarre mac-n-cheese with raisins, sun-dried tomatoes, capers and parsley dish option.

To be fair, that’s how the cauliflower dish was described as well, so it’s possible it was simply a mistake on the printer’s part. Nonetheless, Twitter had a field day dragging Drake for the highfalutin menu.

But Drake’s birthday wasn’t a bust by any means. His longtime friend and Young Money collaborator Nicki Minaj took some time out to recognize Drake for his special day — although she was a day late.

On Sunday (October 25), the new mother of a baby boy shared a throwback photo of them together on one of her Instagram Stories. She wrote above the photo, “@champagnepapi more life. for life,” a reference to his 2017 mixtape More Life.

Nicki and Drake have collaborated on numerous songs over the years, including the “Best I Ever Had (Remix), “Champion” with Nas and Jeezy from 2012’s Pink Reloaded: Roman Reloaded — The Re-Up, “Moment 4 Life” from 2010’s Pink Friday and “Only” from 2014’s The Pinkprint.

Although Nicki wasn’t able to celebrate with Drake in person, at least she didn’t have to experience mac-and-cheese with raisins. Check out some of Twitter’s reactions to the menu below.https://twitter.com/comfycosi/status/1320374842349191168?s=20
