NBA YoungBoy is set to plead guilty to Federal gun charges.

He had been facing ten years after being charged with possessing firearms as a convicted felon during a 2020 music video shoot. Police say he had a 9 mm handgun and a .45-caliber Glock.

We don’t yet know how much time he will have to serve with the plea. Ā He has been under house arrest for about two years, and that will likely count as time served.

In addition to the gun charges, YB is facing federal charges of impersonating a doctor in a scheme to get prescription medication, like cough syrup.

His plea doesn’t appear to affect that case.
