A lot of folks believe rap music — in particular NBA YoungBoy — led Ja Morant down a bad path.

While Morant is a huge YB fan, it seems a bit unfair to single him out.

YB has been denouncing violence and getting religion while Ja is pulling up eight deep on high schools.

When Ja returned from his eight-game suspension for waving a gun at a strip club earlier this week, he ended up quoting YoungBoy in his post-game interview, rapping the line “It’s a parade inside my city” from the YB track “Fresh Prince of Utah.”  It’s a line he’s used before.

YoungBoy has made it clear he approves.

“& you know it’s gonna be a parade forreal behind you,” he typed on social.

Do you think Ja will be bringing a parade to Memphis anytime soon?
