Dallas, TX – More details have come out surrounding Mo3’s murder after he was shot and killed in his hometown on Wednesday (November 11).

According to a TMZ report on Sunday (November 15), the Dallas rapper noticed he was being watched and followed when he left a woman’s house he’d stayed at the night before. In an attempt to lose them, he hopped on I-35 but he ended up crashing while trying to get around traffic.

From there, Mo3 reportedly attempted to “run for his life,” but the person following him stayed on his trail and ultimately shot him in the back of the head. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after.

Hundreds of fans of the late rapper gathered outside of Dallas’ City Hall on Friday (November 13) for a prayer vigil and balloon release – which meant a lot to the late rapper’s manager, Brandon Rainwater.

“We ain’t know Mo3 had this much love a week ago,” Rainwater told CBS in an interview. “For somebody to come from nothing to die with this much power? That’s mission accomplished.”

Mo’s friend and collaborator Boosie Badazz was one of the hundreds of people in attendance at the vigil. The following morning, he was shot in the leg outside of Dallas-area strip mall Big T’s. He was reportedly treated for a gunshot wound below the knee at a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
