For years, DJ Khaled was the most successful non-rapper when it came to dropping rap albums.
But there’s a new non-rapping sheriff in town.
Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villainshad a better start than any of Khaled’s many projects and is about to break Khaled’s record for most consecutive top-five finishes for a non-rapping producer.
Longest Running Top 5 Album from a Non-Rapping Producer (Billboard 200) 7 weeks – DJ Khaled – Grateful 7 weeks – Metro Boomin – HEROES & VILLAINS Metro is a few days away from making history and snatching this record off DJ Khaled
The good news for Khaled is that his record for consecutive top five finishes for a non-rapping, non-producing producer is probably safe forever.
