Following her 2020 debut album Good News, Megan Thee Stallion bares all on her sophomore release Traumazine.

After confirming earlier this month that her sophomore album was finished, Megan Thee Stallion has released her new album Traumazine. The album, which follows her 2020 debut Good News, features appearances from Key Glock (“Ungrateful”), Latto (“Budget”), Pooh Shiesty (“Who Me”), Rico Nasty (“Scary”), Jhene Aiko (“Consistency”) and more. The album also arrives nearly a year since her surprise compilation Something For the Hotties.

On Thursday (August 11), Meg revealed the Traumazine tracklist along with a 19-second trailer for the album where two sides of the Houston rapper attend a funeral of an unknown person.

Earlier this month, Meg shared the definition behind the album’s title on Instagram, reading “the chemical released in the brain when it is forced to deal with painful emotions caused by traumatic events and experiences.”

“I want to take you through so many different emotions,” Meg told Rolling Stone about Traumazine two months before the album’s release. “At first you was twerking, now you might be crying. I just always want people to remember, ‘Yes, Megan Thee Stallion, she was great, she was a rapper. She was one of the best rappers, the coldest.’”

To celebrate Traumazine, on Thursday night, Meg co-hosted The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During the epsidoe, she helped Fallon deliver the opening monologue, did hip-hop mad lib karaoke over “Savage” and “Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang” along with joining the “Thank You Notes” segment as part of the talk show’s ‘Superstar Super Summer.’
