Los Angeles, CA – The shocking death of Kobe Bryant has cast a shadow on the 2020 Grammy Awards, which are being held in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 26).

The late NBA star played his entire career for the Los Angeles Lakers, making their arena — the Staples Center — a surreal venue to be holding a festive ceremony in light of his passing.

Yet the show will go on as artists from around the world have come to L.A. for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Some of Hip Hop’s biggest stars, including Lizzo and Rick Ross, are among the notable names to grace the red carpet at this year’s event.
