The Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lil Durk feud took another turn on Monday (September 7). According to HITS Daily Double, 6ix9ine’s TattleTales is now projected to sell between roughly 45,000 to 50,000 equivalent-album units, which is a far cry from the original 150,000 projection and the No. 1 spot atop the Billboard 200 he was expected to hold down.

Durk and others 6ix9ine has beefed with during his career didn’t waste any time in getting a good laugh at the unfortunate news for the often pompous Brooklyn rapper.

“This what happens when you try to go against The Voice lol,” Durk commented on an Akademiks post. “I’ma outsell him with my eyes closed.”

Durk continued to troll, “Should’ve took that 3 million and got some mfr album sales.”

The $3 million line refers to Durk’s claim 6ix9ine’s camp called the Chicago native’s team to offer him money to continue their public back-and-forth ahead of the release of his TattleTales album. Durk is also expected to drop his The Voice album during October. It’s unknown if this is a variation of his No Auto project with Metro Boomin’.

Those that have feuded with 6ix9ine in the past such as Blueface, Trippie Redd and Lil Tjay also chimed in on Instagram. The report bodes well for Big Sean, who’s now in position to notch his third consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Detroit 2.

Some in the industry are speculating the significant drop in projects for 6ix9ine is due to Billboard‘s new policy regarding the counting of album bundle sales.
