KeKe Palmer is speaking more about her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson getting upset over her dancing with Usher in a nearly see-through outfit.
Palmer was at one of Usher’s concerts last year and was seen rubbing up against the R&B singer.
“It’s the outfit tho . . . you a mom,” wrote Jackson on social media after seeing a clip of the show.
Palmer said she was taken aback after seeing his message and had no idea why dancing with Usher became such big news.
“I was speechless,” she said about the whole thing while speaking to People. “I was at a photo shoot and everybody was looking all weird. I was like, ‘Are y’all good?’ And then I randomly was on my phone and I saw.”
“It was so crazy. I didn’t want to engage with something that wasn’t reality and fan the fire. I was just at a concert, doing what I do as an entertainer, creating a fun moment,” the actor and singer continued. “How it became a storyline that me and Usher are in love, I don’t know.”
Palmer then said it wasn’t Usher who ended her relationship with Jackson, it was her level of fame.
“It’s just been a monkey on my back all my life,” she explained. “I’m used to it. But I’ve always known, and not just with my romantic relationships, but with my family, with my friends. Fame has always become a burden.”
