Joyner Lucas is currently doing a press run for his album Not Now I’m Busy, and recently told a story about how his former label Atlantic screwed him out of a Cardi B collaboration.
His latest interview is on The Jason Lee Show, where he talked about dating Ashanti and keeping it a secret.
“It was dope. She’s a really dope person. She really is,”said Lucas. “I’m a private n*gga. I don’t really talk about it. But what I will say is that she is an amazing person. I’m just excited about how much she wanted to be a mom.”
Ashanti has rekindled her romance with Nelly and is pregnant with his child. But before that, she appeared in a steamy video with Lucas for their song “Fall Slowly.”
