Jimmy Butler’s New Hairstyle reflects his Emotional State After Lillard Trade

Last year, Jimmy Butler showed up at the Miami Heat’s first media day with dreadlocks.

This year, he is sporting a more emo look.

“This is my emotional state,” Butler said about his hair. 

 

Butler was upset when the Heat didn’t land Damian Lillard, who was instead dealt to their rival Bucks.  To make matters worse, Jrue Holliday — who was traded for Lillard — got rerouted to the Celtics.
