Jamie Foxx celebrated his 57th birthday last night at Mr. Chow’s in Los Angeles.
He ended up in the hospital after he was assaulted with a glass.
“Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth,” a spokesperson for Foxx said. “He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands.”
A witness told TMZ that patrons at another table were being vulgar toward Foxx, and the trouble started when Jamie told them to stop because he was with his family.
Last year, Foxx suffered a stroke and spent weeks in the hospital and rehab.
He’s recovered and joked about his health issues during his recent comedy special.
