Taz Taylor has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The Internet Money co-founder revealed his COVID results on Monday (December 7), and announced his plans to quarantine for the full 14 days recommended by the CDC.
“damn I tested positive,” he tweeted with crying emojis. “quarantining next 2 weeks. Stay Strong Beautiful PPL.”

The next day, Taylor unleashed his quarantine plan of gaming through the two weeks – thanks to a gift from fellow Internet Money member Cxdy.
“Mr. @TheCxdy got me a corona gift,” Taylor tweeted. “Thank you king baba. Who tryna play Xbox with taz next 14 days?”

It’s not all bad for Taylor, though. His time inside gaming could always lead to future business opportunities – much like the way Internet Money formed.
“[Internet Money co-founder Nick Mira and I] actually met playing Call of Duty. That’s kind of where it started, and what stood out to me is they never talked to me about music shit, and they didn’t care because it was always on some other shit,” Taylor told HipHopDX in November. “It became about music as it grew into something else. I just wanted to build something like a group of friends.”
The positive test comes amid a huge spike in cases across the country and a strict lockdown in Taylor’s current city of Los Angeles. Put in place Sunday night (December 6), residents of the Southern California city no longer have the option to dine out, get a haircut, get their nails done or go to museums, among other restrictions.
